participants are composed of members of the National Anti-Poverty Commission , Artisanal
Fisherfolk Sectoral Council and accredited Peoples Organization, Private
Organization and Local Government Units from Luzon , Visayas and Mindanao.
This
training is part and continuation of the
Capability Building and Livelihood Program funded by DA/SPEED FUND / NAPC
starting Cy 2011 to Cy 2014 covering a series of training programs conducted in
different regions of the country.
The
5-day Integrated Organic Aquaculture Seminar-Workshop is hosted by BFAR region
11 under Regional Director Fatma M. Idris, Dr Dev. and assisted by National DA- BFAR Officers and
facilitators.

3 . The list of officers is interim as part of the preparation and development of a process to ensure continues linkage and network among members and graduates of the course. Its purpose is to set-up a national sharing of information and knowledge to enhance the organic aquaculture practices in respective areas of responsibility
4. Dr. Francisco P de la Pena, Jr. ACES President and CEO (09999958506), together with Dr. Silvano B. Maranga, Project Director( 09177111102) and General Manager Vianney D. Garol (09339660596) offered their services as advisers to the newly organized group.
5. Dr. Francisco P. de la Pena,Jr offered a token amount to initiate a fund for the treasurer to set-up a system of fund management and for submission to the board for approval
6. Dr. Silvano B. Maranga ,ACES offers to provide the conference calls to the members for information sharing while GM Vianney D. Garol offers to make technical visits to regional associations.
7. A plan to organize a Community-based Trainors for Organic Aquaculture in consultation with TESDA - DA- BFAR was discussed a a strategy to follow-up the development efforts of the members
