ACES NATURAL FARMING SELF ASSESSMENT GUIDE

SELF ASSESSMENT GUIDE FOR ADULT LEARNERS OF   ACES NATURAL FARMING TECHNOLOGY AND ORGANIC AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION NC II

This self-assessment guide is designed to facilitate the acquisition of competencies of a trainee in ACES NATURAL FARMING TECHNOLOGY COURSE, a TESDA registered program. As presented during the orientation of trainees, ACES adopts the ADULT LEARNING Modality in the conduct of the training. This means that an ACES trainee is a learner of knowledge and skills as an adult rather than the Pedagogical model where learners treat themselves as children and must be fed with information by trainors. Adults learn more as they are guided and more focused on specific objectives and ourcomes. Personal research and quest to acquire more knowledge and skills are important indications of matured learners.

The competencies listed in this guide is based on the TESDA Training Regulation as the ACES NATURAL FARMING TECHNOLOGY LEVEL I is the forerunner of the Organic Agriculture Production NC II. It shall then be the basis for the search of more information for a trainee to not only graduate but internalize the concepts and competencies in the course.

As guide to a learner, a series of questions are listed for personal assessment on whether  you can do or perform the competencies as listed. Be as objective as possible in your responses to facilitate the learning process and identify areas of further learning. This is a preparatory stage or basic review of the contents of the Organic Agriculture NC II. In items that are not clear to you , please feel free to contact us. (Dr Francisco P de la Pena, Jr, GM Vianney Garol, Dr. Silvano B Maranga)

Per our discussion, we will find time to follow up on your projects to ensure that whatever is learned at ACES will be applied and help in the personal growth and development, economic upliftment of a graduate and the community in general.
