The 7th Batch of ACES NATURAL FARMING TECHNOLOGY COURSE I started promptly at 9:00 a.m.on October 28, 2011 at the audio visual hall of ACES Polytechnic College, in Panabo City, with 25 participants. A group 7 muslim brothers from Zamboanga and Basilan, together with participants coming from Davao City composed the batch 7.
Dr. Francisco P. de la Pena, Jr. President and Chief Executive Officer of ACES Polytechnic College conducted the sessions based on the manual on Natural Farming which he authored and made sure that scientific studies are presented to the level of the less educated farmer. The process of simplifying a complex idea into easily understandable concepts comes naturally to Doc Frank as it translates his passion to ensure that whatever he teaches shall easily be taught to others. He believes in the principle that knowledge unshared will be lost forever.
Meanwhile, the ACES FS General Manager Vianney Garol, made sure that the listeners of radio program at DXRD, 9:00 a.m.-10:00 am , from Monday to Friday, entitled Serbisyo sa Masa will have inputs and updated on the on-going training on natural farming technology course. This was done through telephone interview or phone patch with radio anchorman Boy Bilaan. Dr. Silvano Maranga also took time to take some pictures of the participants during lectures and visit to the ACES Natural farming facility.
